I have a 97 explorer 2wd. The front left sounds like a bad wheel bearing but i have replaced wheel bearing, rotors, brakes, upper/lowwer ball joints, sway bar links on both sides. Still makes the roaring noise like a wheel bearing. Does it after 20 mph and then when slowing down is when its the worst and i can feel it in the floor board. Also has new tires on the front. Any suggestions. Ive tried everything i can think of. Thanks.

What kind of tires? Mine have always made a roaring sound around 30 mph.

The 2 tires on the front im not sure of the brand but there a street pattern. Ive rotated tired from front to back and didnt help any so i moved the new tires back to the frony again. You can only hear it when taking off but when slowing down i can feel it a lil in the steering and in the floor. Im clueless rigjt now. Is there any way that the spindle shaft could be bent or warpped. Its made that roaring noise the whole 2months ive had it but just thought it was the wheel bearing. The only thing thats not brand new on th front is the spindle shaft.

Are you sure its in the front. Check your u-joints and rear bearings
