I was wondering if anyone could tell me about how many hours labor is involved in replacing the head gaskets. I thought my water pump was bad and took it in and it turns out I have a blown head gasket so I am trying to get an idea of how much it will cost to have it fixed since it is too much for me to attempt. My mechanic charges $60 an hour and I know there could be more cost involved if a head is cracked. I am just looking for a ballpark price and worst case scenario. Any help is appreciated.
