97 Traction Control

I'm not completely sure this is in the right place, so I apologize if it isn't. But can anyone tell me if it is possible to take traction control off on a 97 explorer. I searched for this but found nothing.

I never understood why this is desirable, but I think there are at least two ways to do it. Search for brown wire mod, and 1354 swap. Might even be in the stickies

well I just don't like the way it makes the truck feel. Not preferable to me. Thank you for replying. I ended up getting it off by taking out the #10(i believe, it could be #9) 30A fuse in the engine compartment. And #14 fuse from the inside fuse panel.

Hey, good idea, that sounds like the simplest way to disable the system. Glad you got it worked out.
