I'm looking to replace my clutch since the disc is old (160,000) and the slave is giving out (periodically loosing hydraulic pressure). I have a 98 Exp Sport 4.0 OHV.

I'm not looking for anything special. Just want something afordable and of decent quality.

I was looking around on Ebay and found these. Anybody have any opinions on these clutches or any others?

Personally, assuming all those miles were achieved with the original clutch intact, it says an awful lot in favor of Ford Parts. I have always gotten very good service by getting important replacement parts from Ford. Just my opinion. FWIW. imp

I am adding this one to my list just because I know LUK makes good clutches durable clutch sets.

I'm not going for performance. Just something that will retain the original feel and last long like the last one, but then also which is affordable. Genuine Ford Parts are nice but they run a pretty penny.

Go with the LUK, that's what Ford uses.
