98 Ranger 3.0 V6 4X2 right side axle overheating

I have a 98 Ranger, 3.0 V6 and the right side rear hub is getting hot, causing the o/d to flash after about 15 miles. I replaced the seal, bearing and finally the axle shaft. It was good for about a week and then the O/D was triggered again.

The code indicates excessive heat in the rear end, but only the right side is hot.

Any ideas?

Check for brake pads dragging.

It doesn't seem to be the brake, there is no rolling resistance or noticeable noise and actually had adjusted it thinking the same thing.
