98 x runs bad with maf plugged in and unplugged

Some what a part 2 to the thread "torqued valve covers, now its running terrible" Don't know what's going on. Now the misfires gone but it runs bad with the maf plugged in or unplugged. Any ideas? No vac leaks, intake gaskets replaced, injector o rings replaced, fuel pressure good, new coil, new plugs, new wires, new maf, new egr gaskt, new egr tube o ring, o2 running voltages are good, and did a few other things but can't remember. Its also surged a bit while driving. I even got a 30 year xplorer savvy mechanic stumped! I'm thinking clogged injector. Lemme here your guys' thoughts

I replaced my coil pack not long ago and the new one had a different order for the plug wires than the original. If I remember right the number four and six were swapped Double check that it took care of my issue with misfire and running and running like crap.

I would think that's possible, except for the fact that it ran PERFECT after the gaskets. And it still doesn't miss. Just lopes and sputters and lags almost like a bad o2 but there doing what there suppose to be doing.
