99 explorer and ranger 2wd front suspension difference

Ok what is the difference in the front end, visually they look similar i havent take any measurement but they look similar tryin to see if i could run the ranger 5 or 6 in spindle lift kit under my 99 explorer Eddie bauer any info would be helpful
