When we went offroading a few weeks ago the 99 developed an overheating issue. its not been started for about 3 weeks and today it fired right up no problem. I drove it for a while and everything seemed fine. no overheating and started first time every time.
Now after a 10 min drive and turning it off it struggled to start. got it started and drove home.
When I switched it off the over flow tank was bubbling away and now it won't start. It's trying to but it's just backfiring.
ive considered head gasket, but there's no water in the oil.
anyone have any ideas?
