Hi Guys

I have a 95 Explorer. Last summer when I turned on the A/C all I got was hot air. Found out the Blend Door was not switching from hot to cold. I now can reach thru and switch the door. The summer before last summer the A/C worked great. I tried the A/C again this summer still dont work. I am thinking about charging the A/C with one can to see if it starts to work. Do you guys have any ideas.

Thank You

look at all the connections on the a/c system and look for dirty oily spots, that will be your leak point. You have a leak it probably will work for awhile with a can or 2.
Some people just charge them up yearly and let them leak. Its one way of doing it I guess. The proper way is better and will keep the system in proper working order instead of destroying it.

Make sure your compressor is cycling on and off as well
