A/C problems

My 2008 Limited just started blowing warm air through the A/C. I never had any problem with my previous Explorer A/C from 1998 to 2008. My son still has it and it is working fine.

This is the first fully auto climate control HVAC I have ever owned. Anyone experienced any problems. I am going to the dealer next Tuesday. I have the 7 year 100,000 warranty. The car has 35,000 miles on it. I passed through the 36k warranty on January 8, 2011.

You are fortunate that it's still under warranty. Just let the dealer handle it.

Not satisfied

Even though I have an extended warranty it cost me $ 160. to get my AC checked out. I had lost freon! Dealer did his thing and they found no leak so they filled her back up and it is working like new.

I guess I will wait until it happens again. They consider this a maintenance issue since nothing is broke.

Thats BS, it doesnt just get used up. My wifes old van had lost freon and they refilled the system, couldnt see a leak, but sent me home and told me to come back in a few days. Sure enough, they found it then, it just didnt show in a day.
