a few more mods in Ex? or save $$?

I want a ford lightning SVT.
There are 2 things left i kind of want to do to my explorer... that take noticable money from my pocket anyways.... a cat back exhaust, and a good super chip. Are these worth it? I come close to beating a lot of ricers when i race them, and i think its a blast. Will these 2 mods give me noticably umph and make me more happy for 2 years? Or should i just save the money and put it towards the lightning SVT i'm hoping to get 2 years from now???
