- '98 V8 2WD XLT
I have a few problems with my 98 2wd v8 xlt.
1. While driving i sometimes get a bump feeling like ive been lightly rearended. This happens off and on.
2. while stationary i hear a clicking every now and then pretty often and it feels like the engine is randomly missing. For example ill be at a drive up window and it will do this about 10 or so times in a random time period.
3. I will be accelerating and the motor bogs. Sometimes ive noticed that when accelerating hard both the temp and oil pressure needles will fluctuate some. Maybe a 1/4" in either direction pretty fast.
Let me know what yall think or if you have any little tests i can do to check it out.
