I have just recently developed a slight valve click when starting my 02 xlt 4.0.
I have added seafoam to my gas tank before but never in the crank case or thru a vac. line. Im thinking about replacing my plugs soon (should i replace the wires too?) So i thought i might seafoam everything at once then change the plugs and oil a few days later. Does this sound reasonable?

What size gap should i be looking for when i buy new plugs?

If I need new wires are the $30 sets just as good as the $60 sets?

Anyone here ever used Seafoam thu a Vac Line?

I always use Motorcraft plugs which are pre-gapped. There should be a sticker on the underside of the hood which will list the plug gap (IIRC, its .056 but I'm not positive)

I have used both aftermarket wires and Motorcraft wires. For my truck, the aftermarket ones didn't fit right. The Motorcraft wires are actually pretty good quality.
