A little disappointed w/SCT flash device!

Ok, so I'm a little disappointed w/my SCT flash device! My ST is pretty much stock, no big mod's.. just a k&n drop-in & ngk iridium. I purchased the device a few weeks ago and finally was able to download the tune software (1)Street 93 (2)Tow. For the last few days I've been playing and tweaking the hell out of it and really haven't notice any positive performance! The truck actually performs better w/the factory software. I'm not saying it's a bad tuning software, but for the V6 4.0L models, its not worth the price. Now, if you're running V8's with mod's or any thing w/a turbo or supercharged motor, then it'll be worth every dime!!

I'm gonna tweak it some and see if I notice any improvement.. if not, I'll put the lil guy up for sale if anyone is interested.

Who did the tunes that were provided? are they canned tunes from SCT? if so, I highly recommend getting a trusted tuner to provide custom tunes. hensonperformance for example.

I actually got the tuning software from Henson. Im still learning how to use it and what the different icons mean in the device. I wish SCT would have more literature on how to use the device. I was on the phone with a tech from SCT this evening, so whenever I take my lil lunch break tomorrow, I'm gonna try a few different setting that they suggested.
