well, I tried everywhere for some help on this, found one on how to do, but would of liked pictures and explanation in detail on how to do it, and the best method to reseal hole. I plan on doing a step by step fix for this, with multiple clear pictures.. I orderd a blend door on ebay for 16.00 but for now my fix is very strong.. what I do need to know is, should the blend door be closed all the way when I install actuater? or should I set the temp at a certain degree then install? also, I have driven the truck with the actuater unplugged, to re-set temp control do I need to have the truck running and remove fuse #36 for 5 min?

How did you get inside the plenum?

Did you have to remove the entire dash to get inside the plenum or did you find another way?

Where did you find the reference to the "Fix"?

I was wondering why we can't just carefully cut through the front plastic of the plenum with a roto tool, making sure to stay away from the heater core, gain access to the inside and make the fix, then put a patch on it when we're done?
