I've noticed in looking at the threads dealing with u- joint replacement that everyone suggests the old standby method of removing them with two sockets and a hammer.While this works , as a chrysler tech I've personaly seen yokes tweaked or cracked this way.a much easier (and better for the shaft ) method is to use a ball joint press with no adapters . If you don't have one most large parts stores(such as autozone) have loaners ,as the're a common tool .
