A4LD swap. The 91 has a 4 pin neutral saftey switch, and the 94 has a 5 pin.

I have a 94 aerostar, but i´m taking rebuild tranny from 91. One problem is that old one (91) has 4 pin connector (neutral switch) and 94 has 5 pin connector.

New cables or swap connector from 94 to 91?

Last page (6) tell´s me that this part is number 56991 neutral switch. So what should i do with it? Can i just take the 5 pin one out from 94 tranny and re-place it over the 4 pin one in 91 (56991A)?

I've renamed, and moved this thread to the Aerostar section. Swap the neutral safety switch. Keep in mind that the 94 is more updated than the 91, so you might want to rebuild the 94 transmission, and save it as a spare.
