ABS and Engine Light On

2000 Sport ABS and Engine light just come on is this something that needs to go to repair shop and can i fix myself. Please help made appointment for Monday to take to shop would love to fix myself and save the money.

First off you need to know why the lights are coming on, which means you need the codes read. I believe autozone will read the codes for free. Once you do that then we can help you here.

Autozone will only read the engine light codes, ABS are entirely different, usually a shop has to read them.

I had the same issue. The clock spring in the steering column was bad. I took mine to the shop but if you don't mind dealing with removing the air bag, steering wheel and a part of the steering column go for it.
