I just changed the rotors and pads on my 2001 ranger. Everything went well. Now the ABS idiot light won't go off. I didn't touch (knowingly) the sensor while doing this.It only comes on when I stert forward, not backing out of the driveway.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It could be your ABS sensors on your hub assemblies. Check to see if the connectors that go to the frame rails from the hub assemblies are loose or have a dirty connection.

I already did. They seem OK.

Tomorrow I'm taking the old rotor to Advance and compare to one of my new ones. Check all the measurements, etc, and see if there are any differences.

Thanks

Try The Sensor In The Pumpkin, Its A Frequent Seller.

I don't get it (sensor in pumpkin)?

there is an abs/speed sensor in you rear end. its a very common problem for kicking the light on
