Whats up with that? When I had shut her off after and started her back up later on, it never came back on.

Added note: it came on not too long after i had an automated touchless car wash....

when i had my X, the check engine light was on for a few days, and i never got around to fixing it (all it needed was a tune up), but it also flashed probably 5 or 7 times then went back to solid.

my guess is that you need to have it checked out, and it flashes just to make sure you know its on so you can fix it. most likley flashing just to get your attention, thats my guess.

mines bin on for a year or two , the sensorwhent bad and i havent gotytenaround tofixin it, but the excessive water sprayed on it in a car wash would make it come on untilit dried completely

Mine does the same thing after I get the Ex washed.

I am pretty sure it is from when I replaced my power steering gear box. There is a connector for the ABS wiring right above the gearbox. You can see it through the drivers side wheel well. I recall I broke the little plastic piece that mounts the connector to the body. I never bothered to replace it, but when it gets wet, the ABS light blinks then stays on.

You should waterproof that plug. It will probably fix your problem.
