ABS light is on

Okay, so my car is being strange. About a month ago after hearing strange noises, but looking under the car and not being able to figure out what it was- turns out the 2 front wheels were falling off! We jacked it up, and shook the wheels back and forth- i'm lucky they didn't fall off!

Anyway, wheels replaced, it's driving great- no more noises, braking great, no problem, steering, no problem - except my ABS light comes on and off. It won't be on when i start the car, but will pop on later. Resets each time. I brought it back to the shop twice now, and the cars computer isn't throwing any problem codes at all. We checked it again this morning.

Should I be worried? not worried- the computer just doesn't like the new wheels we put on, or...?

aftermarket front hubs have a bad track record for popping abs codes.

if you are setting abs codes they should be in memory.

also the pumpkin sensor on that year also likes to set a code.

Understood- except there's no code, though. We even checked the memory. Just the light going on and off?

codes exist, drive it a little longer.

i had a snap on scanner i once scanned a cel to find p1000.... tho it did have codes, some scanners cant read with certain cars.

i'm 100% sure codes exist, try a different scanner.
