ABS light problems

My wife's car (96 cutless supreme) the ABS light came on the other day. Just had it in for a service engine light, needed a new injecter in cyl 2. So I don't think that they could have screwed anything up to cause this light. How can I trouble shoot this. Breaks work ok and they are only 3 or 4 months old. ANy ideas on trouble shooting or will this light cause a code? thanks.

Try simple first, had the same problem with the light on my X, But it was intemittent. turned out the wire for the sensor was damaged and shorting out against the wheel, Tape fix. Is the speedometer erratic? GM uses a speed sensor that somehow tied ABS into the speedometer, Had a friend w/abs light problem and ended being speed sensor
