Can anyone tell me how to access the J3 port on the EEC-V? I can see the computer is hanging out into the engine compartment, but not sure whether I need to access it from inside the dash or it's possible to do this from the engine compartment.

What are you trying to do? I'm not even sure you can get to it from under the dash. You may have to just pull it out and plug in whatever you want to plug in and then put it back. It's only a few bolts to take it out. Takes 3 minutes.

Ok, so you can remove the computer entirely from the engine compartment? If that's true, then that's great.

I'm trying to get to the J3 port so I can put a Tweecer on it.

I think you'll have to pull the PCM out to install the tweecer.

Correct. The question is whether this is done entirely in the engine compartment or not.

Yes it is. 10mm bolt to unbolt the PCM harness, and 2 11MM deep well to get the PCM off the firewall. Even if you can get to it through the dash I'd take it out, clean the port really well to get all the dielectric crap off it and put it in that way.

Thanks so much, very much appreciate it!

youll need to take a razor to the j3 port and scrape the plastic coating off each prong
