You wanna know how?
CLEAN YOUR KKM AIRFILTER
I was getting some horrible numbers and cursing the day I got these BFG mud tires, until it dawned on me that I hadn't cleaned the KKM in a few months.
So out it came, and after just tapping it on the ground, I'm pretty sure the entire mud contents of the last trail I did fell onto my driveway.
So after a *light* clean, it's back in and I'm ready to rock again.
You know what this realisation was like? You know in the "Troubleshooting" pages of new VCRs and TVs and stuff, how the first thing it says is to check that the power is turned on? Duh...
"In order for your KKM airfilter to be working properly, ensure that mud and sand is not clogging every breathable pore in the foam filtration system."
"If the problem still persists, turn the power off from the mains switch to reset the device"
I'm sorry, but I don't have any dyno results to back up my claims, so you're just going to have to believe me on this one.
But if anyone else does this mod, I'd love to hear feedback...some before and after pictures would be nice too.
Take it easy fellas,
BK
