Just wondering If anyone has acutally been successful at running a MP3 Player or anything else through the CD changer. There were some posts that threw out the Idea of being able to turn off the Audio signal from the CD changer and send your AUX source through the CD changer input on the stock dock. Anyone have drawings/pics of there install?

I was just looking for a cheap way to add a headphone jack plug inline with the cd changer's inputs. Has anyone done that? maybe with a switch to turn off the cd changer and just run the sound from it on the stock deck.

You would have to find a mapping of the pins of the CD changer port and find what pins are the input you could hook wires to. But still don't think that would work. I think some kind of data conversion has to take place, that's why they make the convertors I believe.

I've heard of people adding aux inputs right off the head unit by tapping into the internal wiring, but you'd need a lot more knowlege of the head unit wiring than I'm aware is publically avaliable.
