adding sub and amp question

I have a 08 sport trac, I added factory navigation radio to it, but know I want to add a sub. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? what color is the power on wire? should I just use a line converter off of the rear speakers? I don't know a whole lot about the process? any help would be appreciated.

Remote wire is normally blue. You can use any switched source though. I'd run all new wiring, which probably means using a LOC since you are sticking with the stock deck.

what you should do is use the line level converter off the rear speakers and tap into the remote/ingnition power wire on the nav. unit to use as a remote wire for your amp.
