Adjustable Vacuum Modulator

I just got done with a little tranny TLC, and have the bloody knuckles to prove it. After changing the filter and flushing the fluid, I looked at the vacuum modulator. Mine had fluid in the vacuum line as many have reported so I replaced it. The one I bought was one with the small adjusting screw in the middle. I left it alone and put it in as is. I saw a post recently on adjusting it but wondered how or who could adjust it properly. The tranny seems to be working fine for the most part, at least no better or worse than before. Is there any pros/cons or difference in shifting to be had with adjusting it??

Best left alone..by adjusting it you are going to change the shift points, by changing the shift points, you are going to mess with the computer...
