Adjusting tightness of Door

Hello everyone!!

I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the tightness of a door. At present it is extremely tight and needs a good slam to close it. How hard it is to losen it and what are the steps involved.

You can loosen the door post

The place where it latches and move it out 1/16 to 1/8. I am assuming this is too new to have the hinges worn out and the door dropping down.
