Hey everyone,
My 00 mountaineer is getting a transplant this fall. 5.8 392CID gt-40 w/ eatonhuffer. I dont want to spend countless hours custom fabing headers. I want ceramic coated , ceramic coated stainless or plain ole stainless.
Am I SOL or what??

I think you are SOL like the 200 of us trying to get them also. I hope this is not forever though. good luck.

Are you planning to run explorer DIS / EEC-V with the Windsor engine? If so, keep in mind you will need to make a custom damper with the crank trigger exciter wheel. Also, you will need to make a custom oil pan to clear the front carrier / frame. Finally, run short valve covers or you will hit HVAC box and need custom longer A/C lines. Good luck!

Going to have to get a set fabbed if you dont want to do it yourself. sorry you are indeed sol

SOL is the key. if you could find a set- FRPP used to make a header for the explorer. it is marginally better than the early tubular stock header. basically, its custom or its not at all. sorry.
