Hi all, I appreciate some help if possible. I looked on similar topics but could not access the picture or truly understand if the solution applies properly. so I apologize if this is a repeat topic. This is for a Ford Explorer Limited 2005.
Cabin Airflow is stuck on defrost The Mode Actuator (right side Glove compartment is not engaging. Before replacing it, I looked and googled left and right. That led me to the pictures below. the vaccum line was cut. (I am assuming it is the vaccum line). the picture below is right by the glove compartment.
Folks on youtube are suggesting to remove the stuck tube piece from the intake side and insert the connector into it. That sounds reasonable for the life of me, I could not pry the cut part of the tube connector from the intake. Tried with needes, thins metal wires etc, it would not budge.
I could not google my way to find the part names and replace both parts.
I am grateful if someone could point me to a hack to address this or share with me the part names so I could reorder them or any other ideas you guys have.
Thank you all
Regards,
Karim
