Hi. I have a 97 4.0 litre explorer (GB Spec) with a Robert Bosch standard fit alarm. I recently lost the printed circuit board from the alarm/central locking/immobilisor remote control. Beware! The plastic casing split open and the whole electrical assembly fell out without me noticing. I have managed to obtain a brand new remote unit (despite being quoted 1 months delivery by my local For dealership) But cannot find any instructions regarding putting the alarm into programming mode to program it to the new remote. My local dealership again seems totaly disinterested in helping or even looking at the car with a view to repair! Does anyone know the programming procedure (maybe a series of instructions input by operating the ignition swich???) The alarm and immobilisor are armed and I have no way of disarming them. All help very greatfully recieved as at the moment I have a (very nice) car parked outside my house that is totaly usless to me. Thanks.
