Alpine wiring

You need to disconnect the wire that goes to ACC and run it directly to a constant 12 volt source. Make sure you install a fuse in this line.....If I remember right....a fuse was provided...not too sure though. Anybody else?

Alpine wiring

Hey hydroxy, I just ran down stairs to my X and grabbed the installation manual for the Alpine (you have the same model as I do). On page 38 you will see the schematic/wiring hookup. The red wire labeled IGNITION is the one you want to run to a constant 12 volt source. Make sure you fuse it just like the Yellow wire going to your battery. Good luck.

i used to be able to have the radio on in my accord when it was turned off. only thing is i didn't mean to hook it up like that...oops!

How do you guys like the Alpine HUs? I'm thinking of getting the new Alpine CDA-7893. Any input is helpful.

I am also looking the Alpine CDA-7893.....any feedback on it? how bout pics of it installed?

I just got the Alpine 7893 HU and love it! i don't have any pics of it installed but it looks great. It also gives you great control over everything.
