Altezza vs. Pure white tails, also questions on billet

Well I was looking into modding my explorer a lil more and was looking into maybe altezza or just pure white tails and also a billet grille. I was looking on ebay for grills but they all only have like 10 bars and I want one with a lot of bars where you cannot see through it. Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can buy one? Also what do you guys think on the tails? Thanks!

to be honest i like the chrome looking billets with only 10 bars.. thats what i have on my truck and i think that's what looks best.. thats just my opinion tho

With the 10 bar ones, they are the ones where you cut out your factory bars, thus you'll see the radiator.

I'll let you know in a few days what I'm gonna do with it, I put it back on the truck for now because I'm fiddling with this emblem and getting it color matched to the truck, so the speed grille doesn't look all that great. It's still in tip-top condition and what not, just wasn't for me. BTW here's a pic of it when I took it off to install the SS grille. Will get back to you, sorry I've been really busy.

i went to www.clearlights.com and checked it out for you. simce you have a 99, you have more options than i had. if you go to that site and click on altezza lights then make, model, and year, it will bring up all the altezzas for your 99. i think on your green the 6th, 7th, and 8th ones down might look best. they are black, carbon fiber, or smoked. they have a pretty cool looking design too. since yours is a dark color, maybe a darker altezza would look best and won't stand out too much.

also, here's an old pic of my truck with the grille you want. i also like the 25 bar style cuz it covers up everything. it's all personal preference, some like it, some don't. it is a great deal on ebay though. and has the bumper billet to match:

yes, i bought it from wee12 for about $80 shipped. it does not include the bumper billet. when you win the auction you just tell him that you want the bumper billet also, it's not that expensive and attatches the same way as the main grille. or if you buy the grille from draft, you could still just purchase the bumper billet seperately from wee12. just contact him and he will sell you one.

I just got rid of my full clears. I had them on eBay and sold them local for $100. They do show up form time to time. They look really good on a white X.
