Why not? I love my Explorer, a lot. And while I've been active or lurked on forums for bicycling (ride a lot), Ducatis ('95 900 CR), Alfa Romeo's (wish I owned one) and espresso ('05 Expobar Pulser and Rancilio Rocky) it never occurred to me there would be folks who were so passionate about their Explorers. Anyway, I came here to solve a technical problem but I think I'll stay because it's an awesome resource. My thanks to the folks who make it work. Did I mention that I really love my Explorer?

Thanks for asking. The issue is a sticking shift lever (P -> D). Almost immediately I found a post about it in the 2006+ forum. I learned what a TSB was and that this issue has one. The fix apparently requires replacing the entire shifter assembly and is covered under warranty.

Welcome to Explorer Forum! Cafe Racer...Didn't James Dean die on one of those?
