I am not sure if the regulars stop by the newbees forum, but many thanks to all for the fine dialog, tips, suggestions, joys and commiseration of owning an Explorer. Over the last week I have spent untold hours, hypnotized by all the good stuff on the site. I ‘m hooked!
As the coach says ”You show me plenty!” Thanks to all
Looking forward to adding to the chatter with something, hopefully, intelligent and of use to someone.
I’m from NJ. I got two! A 97 XLT 4.0 SOHC and a 94 XLT manual (wish I had a manual in the 97)… both plain and always clean. Love to fix em myself cause that’s the only way it really becomes “your car.”
My favorite expression to find out what’s not working right – “ you have to be “ONE” with the car” (An old Star Trek line…..I added the car part.)
