Hello from Paso Robles. Here's my "new" Explorer, '93 XLT. Only 155K miles on it, which doesn't seem too bad. Most of the mileage was in the first 10 years, not a lot since then. Some minor things on it, I had to replace the spare tire carrier, and the fan control knob was broken, so I made a replacement out of Fimo, which worked great! The rear wiper doesn't work, may try to take it apart and clean it. Will use if for camping and some light off road use, nothing too extreme. Very happy with it so far, except the previous person had a dog so it has a dirty dog smell, at least I guess it was the dog... only $1500.
At 155K miles, what can I expect will be any major upcoming repairs, or is it more random?
