What exactly did you do to the truck?

i instaled a remote starter/alarm and was programing the alarm by turning the key 3 times had to do this a couple of times

well mine is always flashing theft

it flashes thief and it wount start

Sounds like when you installed the other alarm, something went wrong with the faxtory one.

Sorry, I can offer no real help.

Good luck......

You may have the steering column locked up. Try cranking left or right on the STEERING WHEEL while trying to turn the key. The first time my wife took my truck out, this happened to her, "I can't turn the key and it keeps flashing theft! What do I do!?" She cranked on the steering wheel, and waa-laa, the key turned.

Hope this helps!

IDEA... try disconnecting the new system and see if the key works then,

Keep us posted please.

both keys dont work the truck tries to turn over but just cranks i think i need the keys reprogramed it sucks

I don't know why it won't start but it is not your keys when the key needs to be reprogramed it won't crank the engine at all so I dont think its your keys.

Have you tried it with the aftermarket alarm disconnected?
