i just get on a step ladder and lean over and shove my hand deep in there

Through the wheel well. Pull the tire off if you have to.

Just get your hands dirty!

Attack it from the top! Use a ladder, sit on the fender, whatever it takes. Shove your hand down there. Dont be shy just do it. Rotate the plug wire back and forth to loosen the wire from the plug. Use a pair of pliers if neccesary, then use a set of socket extentions with a universal joint to get the right angle of approach.

I've done it a few times and it gets easier and quicker each time.

Good luck! You can do it if you try!

Yeah, Ford wasn't thinking about removing them when they put the Ac/heating crap in the way.

Remove Pass Tire. 10" extention with a Swivel and deep socket is the ticket.
You will have a tough time getting the Plug wires off. you will leave Forearm skin on the Frame.

Listen: Just driving your hand down to the plugs from the top will do nothing but cause you to pull, stress or disconnect something you dont want to.
Take the few minutes and pull the tire off.

u might even be able to get it from under the car if thats ur thing

got all the plugs changed. it feels good. now i dont have any starting issues. :) the old plugs were gapped at about .100, nw ones are at .054 :D
