any know of a cheap place to get right side exhaust manifold?

anyone know where i can get a cheap pass side exhaust manifold for a 01 5.0 X. used new dont care as long as in good condition. also where can i get new gaskets? i live in CT the quicker i could get it the better.

you can get one from a local parts store for about $80 new, are you sure it's the exhaust manifold and not the egr tube?

yea.. my egr looks fine... its coming from the wheel well area.... i thought a new mani would be a few hundred?

I'd bet my money on the egr tube, or a leaking gasket, the newer style cast manifolds aren't know to crack. But the bolts holding them in place are known to back themselves out. And yes a new manifold from ford is several hundred dollars, the dorman ones are much cheaper though and probably cast from the same mold.

the manifold looks rough around the edges where the bolts are, i am pretty sure thats where it is leaking from or at least that area, you might be right about just needing a gasket.

if i pull the manifold and lets say their is a hole or something could i just weld it then sand it down or what not,i am desperate i got a 350 mile round trip next weekend and need this bad boy to tow my jet skis .....

..... i think i might sea foam the bish first and see where she is leaking from....

a new manifold is indeed $50 from pep boys ... crazy
