Anybody had an issue with the steering shaft binding ? How difficult to replace ?

Hi -

so my Exp developed a binding in the steering.
When turning a wheel to the left, it will resist and then release. And it happens in the same spot during the steering wheel turning. That kind of tells me that the steering shaft u-joint is bad. I thought maybe the tie rods, but it just happens every 360 degrees.

Anybody has done it on the Exp?

Not the steering rack? I've never encountered this problem btw. Not yet. Lol!

I would jack the front end up with the car running and steer the tires with your hand, that way you can move the steering system and be looking right at it.
