Anybody see this mysterious flame yesterday?

We were doing some training yesterday morning when we heard a loud boom. After investigating outside and seeing nothing, our radio started going crazy with reports of a burning object falling from the sky...

We checked our area (Lucerne Valley) but were unable to find any smoking holes or little green men.

From the descriptions, it sounds like a small piece of space junk re-entry.

Rachel said something about the first reports here on the mountain while I was out working, but I didn't bother to follow up on them. I think I will just continue sharpening up on my Zombie survival skills .
