Just curious if you can drop the cross member and swing the trans case low enough to perform the servo upgrade with the trans in the car using the northern kit? I consider myself pretty fortunate as I have no driveability issues with my 5r55w....it shifts fine and the fluid looked normal when I dropped it.....but I am getting the imfamous OD light flash with the torque converter code. I was planning on dropping the valve body, performing the TCC valve upgrade and possibly doing the servo bore upgrade with the unit still in the vehicle if it's possible.
I know that I should pull the unit out and do a complete rebuild but it kills me to know I just swapped the engine 4 months ago.....so to tear it apart again is not something I am looking forward to doing.
