Anyone have a exposed view of a inner tie rod from 98 ex

Im gonna be replacing the inner and outer tie rods on my 98-havent bought them yet. Im just wondering how they bolt up to the rack(inside the boot).I know when i buy them, my ? is answered, but for now, a pic would be nice. Thanks

they make special service tools for removing them... not sure if you can rent them or what, but i know they make it way easier, of all the ones i have assisted in removing i have never not used one of the special tools... it looks like a hollowed out maglite

Yeah, they rent tools to do it, but just using a really big crescent is easy too.

Just turn the rack to one side, and get a big adjustable wrench and a piece of pipe, that's all i ever use to remove or install them.
