Anyone know if you can use a F150 signal stalk?

Does anyone know if you can use an F150 or other ford signal stalk on a 98 mounty instead of the stock one. I hate the bend down it is too low,a nd would like one that bends up or neutral.
 






That would be nice. I hate reaching way down to use the signal.
