I was wondering if anyone has replace their own subframe bushings at all? My 2011 Limited is clunking pretty bad, and after replacing every suspension component and not fixing the noise, I found the subframe has quite a bit of movement from the body:

I was wondering if this could be done with lowering the rear of the subframe a few inches, or does the whole subframe have to come out and have the bushing pressed out/in? This video was from jacking up the rear of the subframe from the bolt that goes through the subframe.

Did anyone replace these them selves? O
I tried to when I was replacing other suspension components. You definitely need a press or the special ford tool, and I'm not sure if you can use that tool without dropping the whole subframe like it says in the manual. I considered making my own tool but decided it just wasn't worth the effort.

I tried heat and lots of pounding/prying - but they won't come out with regular hand tools.

Edit- I only attempted the two front bushings on the front subframe. I didn't try the two rear bushings (on the front subframe)
