Anyone use this eliminate throttle lag/delay?

Has anyone used this or another company to eliminate the throttle response delay on our Explorers? I am told we have a drive-by-wire throttle and thats what causes the lag delay when hitting the gas.

its just about the same price as a programmer. i dont think these will work for explorers? do we have electronics under our gas pedal?

Junk. What they do is take your throttle input from the pedal, multiplies it, and basically fools the throttle body into thinking you are pushing the pedal more than you are.

You push the pedal 10%, it opens the TB 30%.
You push the pedal 50%, it opens the TB 90%.

Result? You get horrible gas mileage because you can no longer feather the throttle or ease into it. Its a mental thing. Install it and all of a sudden you barely push the pedal and the truck really takes off.

I recently bought a SCT programmer and the truck feels great. The tunes that come with the unit aren´t that impressive. It´s a very good idea to purchase the programmer itself at MPT (More power tuning), they have custom tunes that are great. The one I´m using right now is the 91 octane tune with better shifting points, the truck feels very good with more power and I even gained a couple of mpg, of course as long as you drive carefully and don´t step on the gas too much. Sometimes it´s hard, with the new power is very fun to step on it.
