At the end of my rope!

Ive got a 97 mountaineer 5.0 with a 2000 4r70w sitting in a 98 ranger. It runs alright but still has issues. Ive done all the needed wiring changes so it all works. No matter what I do it has a miss and runs lean. I have put new plugs, wires, cam sync/sensor, new crank sensor, new harmonic balancer, replaced both upstream 02 sensors, did upper and lower intake gaskets. I really dont know where to go from here. As of right now I get codes for bank 1 lean, cylinder 3 misfire (swapped plugs, wires, even flipped coil packs around), all 4 02 sensors throw a heater circuit code, and some dumb code about a evap thing that the ranger never had working since I bought it.

Short of swapping it to a carb and starting over I really dont know where to turn

Is your exhaust manifold leaking? Try running some injector cleaner through it.

You know since I put a full exhaust on it there has been a faint tick. I will have to look at that.

Well I tightened up all the manifold bolts, collector bolts, went over my plug boots on both ends. And also found out I had an 02 sensor swapped around. So straightened out it runs pretty hot. I remember why I love this swap
