Flowmaster mufler

Just go to flowmaster.com. :)

I've got the SUV-50, and got it for about $180 last year. As far as which one to go with, depends on what sound you are looking for. I wanted it a little louder than stock, without a lot of interior resonance. The 50 was the one that a Flowmaster rep suggested, and I couldn't be happier. The 40 will be louder.

hehe get a 30

Go to www.summitracing.com and the part number for the 40 series is FLO-430402, and the 50 series is FLO-9430502. I had a local muffler shop weld mine in and install some 2 1/2" pipes with 3 1/2" chrome tips. The pipes and welding cost $100 and the tips were $30. I pciked up some nice power and gained 2 mpg with my exhaust and cut air box with a K&N. Look into synthetics for some more power/mileage gains.

mikeresin the 40 series w/o the delta flow system is actually the loudest, then the 30 series and the 40 series with delta flow followed by the 50 series.
Pemerling, the 50 series SUV is a bit quiter. The advantages to that muffler is that it isthe only one in this range that has dual inlet and outlet for Xs with the stock dual inlet which is convienent if you are going to for dual exhaust but if you arent going to do the dual exhaust you have quite a few options from flowmaster. If you want some good sound i have hard the 40 series DF and it was sweet, you are going to hear it all the time but not overwhelming if you got stock cats.

That is why I went with 2 single in/single out 40 series. You can still get whichever muffler you want.
