From the pic of your homeade conical filter adapter, what kinda filter is that, what size and can you explain to me exactly what you did there? looks to me like you drilled more holes in the MAS and just ran bolts and washers through the rubber trim of the filter?

I was thinkin about doin this..... get a piece of gasket material, cut it out to the size of the opening in the MAS. I'll take that to work and use that as a template onto a thin piece of steal or aluminum and cut the holes out with an iron worker....where I'm stuck is what to put on my new plate to clamp the filter around..... Maybe its time for a trip to home depot..

Sorry for the late reply. I was without a internet connection for the past week. I don't know the size of the filter I actually was just looking around autozone one day saw the cone for fairly cheap and said to myself, "I can make this work". It's simple. There is the one adaptor plate and that is it. You can see it pretty good from this pic here. Any other questions, just ask.
