Auburn Supergrip

I have a '89 Chevy G10 van (1/2 ton, 5 lug wheels) with an open diff in the rear. It has serious traction problems in ALL circumstances. I understand that there is no weight in the back, but even when loaded down, it still spins the tires. I'm thinking of putting a LS in. The one I am looking at is: Dead Link Removed . Is Auburn a quality brand? Do you think this will help? Also, does anyone know if these will even fit? Do the G10 vans have the same rear diff as 1/2 ton 2wd trucks? Sorry for all the questions but I need to figure somehting out.

its probably got the same rear end as the trucks of that era.... also, auburn ls are great... auburns are probably the best at traction devices of the limited slip type.....
